You stay classy, Facebook. [Facebook, Google, and accidental advertising clicks]
Today I accidentally clicked on a Facebook ad. Well, I didn’t really click on the ad, I clicked near it. Same thing right? Not really. Not when it disrupts my user experience. Not when advertisers are paying Facebook per click.
To my knowledge I’ve never accidentally clicked on a Google ad - so I did a quick nonscientific study.
As far as I know, Google actively works to reduce accidental clicks on its ads. And Facebook? Well, the image speaks for itself. Does this bother anyone else?
